The girls track and field team competed at Glenbard West on Saturday.
Shannon Rouke was the top finisher for Wheaton Academy in the 100m with a 14.17, which was her best time of the season so far.
Abi Gum (28.20) and
Ann Hancock (29.33) both broke 30 seconds in the 200m.
Abi Gum (64.40)Â and
Enya Lopez (69.43) were the top two finishers in the 400m. Â
Abi Gum's time of 64.60 has her currently ranked as #7 in the sectional.
In the 800m, Steph Gregersen ran a time of 2:32.19 and is currently seeded 10th in the sectional.
Mia Rynbrandt (5:51) and
Mary Frost (5:45) were the top finishers in the 1600.
In the 3200,
Alyssa Mantia ran a time of 11:51 and is currently ranked #3 in the sectional and 15th in the state.
Gabriela Salerno (20.67) was the top finisher in the 100m hurdles and
Lydia Garrett was the top finisher in the 300m hurdles.
In the shot put,
Shawna Gum hit a mark of 28'2.5'' and
Samantha Tijerina hit a mark of 60'4" in the discus.
