In the 100,
Shannon Rouke (14.07),
Enya Lopez (14.11) and
Ann Hancock (14.30) all ran their fastest time of the season.
In the 200,
Abi Gum ran a time of 28.03, which was only .01 off her personal best.
Also in the 400,
Abi Gum ran a 64.55 to win the race and
Gigi Jones finished 3rd with a time of 70.38.
The girls 4x100 of
Abi Gum,
Ann Hancock,
Lydia Garrett and
Shannon Rourke, was able to set another school record with a time of 54.14.
In the distance events,
Yesica Brown led the 4x800 to a victory at the meet.
Sadie Rynbrandt finished in 1st for the 800m, and
Alyssa Mantia won the 1600 with a personal best time of 5:31.
The 3200m race had three excellent perfomances, with all three girls running their person best time.
Liz Geiser (12:57) and
Anna Jerdee (12:55) both broke the 13 minute mark and
Mary Frost ran an incredible time of 12:18.
In field events,
Shawna Gum was the top finisher for Wheaton Academy in both the shot put and the discus.
Gabriela Salerno was the team's top finisher in the high jump,
Shannon Rourke was the top competitor in the long jump, and
Lydia Garrett won the triple jump at the meet.
As the girls prepare for the conference meet next Friday, there are a few athletes currently ranked in the top 10 for their sectional.
