2020 Girls Track and Field Preview

Mar. 27, 2020 - The Warriors bring back two Metro Suburban Conference (MSC) champions from last season, Lydia Garrett in the 300-meter hurdles (52.03) and Shawna Gum in the shot put (29'02"). Gum also finished third in the discus throw at conference. Shannon Rourke recorded a top-five finish at conference in the long jump (14'03").

In distance events, senior Anna Jerdee will be the top returning runner as she took fourth-place in the JV division at conference last season.

With uncertainty looming about the 2020 spring sports season due to COVID-19 outbreak, Wheaton Academy Athletics is unsure if/when the season will begin. However, we would like to spotlight the three seniors who have dedicated their time to being a Warrior on and off the track.
