Final Score:

Summary:
On a wet October evening, Wheaton Academy jumped out to a 35-0 lead in the first quarter with a balanced air and ground attack. This balance was on display from senior WR
Breck Peacock, who scored the first TD on the evening on a 19 yard receiver jet sweep only to later connect over the air on a run-pass option from QB
Belay Brummel for two of the first quarter's five touchdowns. Seniors
Evan Eckert and
Gavin Pedone along with sophomore Zach Moravec would add TDs of their own to the Warrior's first quarter scoring. QB Brummel, in a quarter and a half of play before being substituted, would go 5 for 6 for 2TD and just over 100 yards of passing.
Defensively, the Warrior first and second string defense held Elmwood Park to 50 yards of total offense and a shutout on the night, forcing two turnovers.
Wheaton Academy (7-1) are at home next Friday in their final regular season game to take on rival Aurora Christian (5-3), game time 7:30pm.
