Wheaton Academy notched their fourth straight shutout, taking down Ridgewood 47-0 on Homecoming. The Warrior defense intercepted Ridgewood four times, including a pick-six from senior safety
Breck Peacock, and held Ridgewood to just 36 yards of total offense. Junior linebacker
Brett Dieter had 9 tackles, 3 for a loss, an interception and a tackle for a safety. Another junior linebacker, Mitch Carik, had 7 tackles, two for loss and assisted Dieter on the safety.
Offensively the Warriors established a ground game behind sophomore RB
Stephen Fellowes, who on 12 carries went 127 yards with 2 TD. Â Senior QB
Belay Brummel threw for 149 yards and 2 TDs.
The Warriors (5-0) travel to Elmhurst next Friday to take on #1 ranked (3A) Immaculate Conception (4-1), game time 7:15pm.
