The boys track and field team competed in the MSC Conference Championship Race at Elmwood Park and finished in 6
th place. This was the final meet for most athletes. The 4x800 started out the racing, finishing in 3
rd place. Joey Urban, Mateo Noguera, and Josh Strzalka all set personal bests in the 800 during the relay. In the 3200m run,
Sheldon Powell earned all-conference honors with a 3
rd place finish. In the high jump, senior
Noah Herman earned all-conference, clearing 5' 2".
The track team will finish out their season on Thursday afternoon at the IHSA Sectional, hosted by Glenbard South High School.
