The Warriors competed in the 2 day Gus Scott Invitational on Friday and Saturday. Being the smallest of 14 schools, the Warriors put up some great marks and many personal bests were set.

On Friday the competition was held at Wheaton Warrenville South and featured half of the field events as well as the distance events. The competition started off with the open 1600m run, in which girl team repretsented by
Ava Davis, Ellie Conairis, Colette Schile,
Payton Collins, and Phia Martinez all set personal bests, running sub 7. The boys followed them, with
Daniel Kersey breaking the 5 minute barrier for the first time,
Shaymis Powell tying his personal best, and Matt Stoner and
Mateo Noguera Montoya setting personal bests. Other personal bests on Friday night included
Sheldon Powell (3200m run),
Caleb Demas (800m run), Joey Urban (800m run),
Cora Gregersen (800m run),
Sarah Jane Lister (800m run),
Brooke O'Carroll (1600m run),
Emma Vega (1600m run), and
Whitney Gabriel (300m hurdles). In the field events,
Ella Bowgren set a personal best in both the Shot Put and Discus,
Apryl Tran set a personal best in the discus, and
John Psyhos set personal bests in both discus and shot put.

Saturday's competition was held at Naperville North and featured the other half of the field events and the sprint events.Â

Jamal Freeman (200), and
Charis Simukai (200) all set personal bests on the guys side. For the girls,
Sarah Miner (200), Mariah Ravela (200),
Emily Prasil (200),
Cora Gregersen (400), and
Molly From (long jump) all set personal bests.

The next competition for the track team will be on Wednesday as both the boys and girls head to ACC for conference competition.
