The Wheaton Academy Warriors fall to 8-3-1 (6-1 in the MSC) with a tough 0-1 loss to 4th ranked Benet Academy on a rainy Saturday afternoon. After a scoreless and physical first half, a red card two minutes into the second half put the Warriors down a man for the remainder of the match. Xander Anaya,
Jude Barton, and a myriad of Warrior defenders held strong for 78 minutes of play until Benet finally scored off a rebound in the box.
Declan Finnegan put on a spectacular display with 9 saves on a busy afternoon in goal.
The Warriors return to action April 12th with a road match at Aurora Christian School.
