The Varsity boys' volleyball had a slow start Monday night as they played the Storm of South Elgin High School. South Elgin won the first set 20-25, but the Warriors regrouped and eliminated most of the unforced errors to win 25-20. The third set started out with the Storm surging ahead to a 10-3 lead. Adam Roman went back to serve and carried the Warriors on a 14-1 service run to take the lead at 17-11. The Warriors didn't relinquish the momentum, and won the game as the third set ended 25-13.
The Warriors host cross town rival West Chicago HS Tuesday night in the Warrior Dome at 5:30 pm.
