The Warriors defeated Lake Forest Academy in two straight sets Tuesday night in front of a good crowd in the Warrior Dome. Both teams battled on each possession making great defensive and offensive plays. In the first set the game went back and forth until a serving run by Luke Fritz had the Warriors pull away for a 25-18 win. In the second set LFA started quick and jumped to a 2-7 lead before the Warriors amped up the offense through OH Mike Ferek and setter Scott Johnson to bring the game to a tie at 13-13. Again, each team traded points and momentum, but the Warriors prevailed and sealed the game with a monstrous solo block from senior Josh Walraven to win 27-25.
