Super-Sectional

STATE BOUND! Boys Soccer Wins Super-Sectionals!

Wheaton Academy headed to the Sterling High School Super-Sectional to play Quincy Notre Dame on Tuesday night.  The game was a memorable high school game between two great teams.  The Warriors tallied first as Seamus Kilgallon scored off a pass from Grayson Harris.  The Warriors added a second after halftime as Jack Kilgallon found Luke Holwerda for the goal.  Quincy ND notched their own tally with about 20 minutes left in the game.  JD Gunn and the backline played a brilliant closing 20 minutes to secure the victory for the Warriors and to launch the squad to STATE!  The Warriors won the Super-Sectional and punched their ticket to the State Semi-Finals which will be played at 1pm on Friday at Hoffman Estates High School.  The Warriors move to an overall record of 23-4 on the year.
Come on out and support the team on Friday!
