In their first road contest of the season, the Wheaton Academy boys basketball team defeated Elmwood Park 57-45. The Warriors led wire to wire and received scoring contributions from nine different players. It was early ball movement and hot shooting that saw the Warriors take a 34-18 lead into half. JD Gunn led all scorers with 14 points.
Marcus Bult added 9 points while
Jack Dykema,
Stephen Garrison, and
Jameson Teuscher each added 8.
The Warriors will be back in action in a conference road game on Friday night at Glenbard South. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
