Warriors Top Streamwood in Opening Game of Thanksgiving Tournament

On opening night of the 2015 Wheaton Academy Thanksgiving Tournament, the Wheaton Academy Warriors defeated the Streamwood Sabers 60-41. Led by a group of five seniors, the Warriors shot well from both the 3-point line and the free throw line. Wheaton Academy jumped out to an early lead in the first half and never looked back. In the 3rd quarter, the Warriors stretched the lead to 17 points and played well on both ends of the floor.

In addition to the 1-0 start the for '15-'16 Warriors, it is also a 1-0 start for new Head Coach David Osborn. The team celebrated and congratulated coach Osborn's first win as Head Coach at Wheaton Academy.

The Warriors face a challenging opponent in Downers Grove North Tuesday, Nov 24 at 8 pm on the Wheaton Academy campus for game two of the Thanksgiving Tournament.
