Girls Golf Interview
Hailey Farmer
1) How long have you been playing golf?
HF says - The first time I ever touched a club was when I was 10. I didn’t enjoy it at that time at all, so I
didn’t play. Summer going into freshman year is when I actually started to play and realized I love
the sport.
2) What’s a phrase that your coach uses most often?
HF says - Mrs. Martin always tells us “Remember who you are representing out there. Remember who you're
playing to glorify.”
3) Which sport do you wish you played but never did?
HF says - I wish I had tried gymnastics. I am always so impressed with the things gymnasts can do.
4) What is a highlight of your athletic career so far?
HF says - A highlight for me was when we made it to state last year as a team. It was such a fun experience
and I’m so thankful we got to do it as a team.
5) What colleges are you interested in?
HF says - Some colleges I’m interested in are Palm Beach Atlantic, University of Georgia, Wake Forest, Duke
and Washington University in St. Louis.
6) What’s one piece of advice you would give to younger athletes?
HF says - To always remember the reason you are doing the sport. Whether that’s to glorify God or to have
fun, I think its important to have a purpose behind what you're doing.
7) You walk into Walgreens with $5, what do you walk out with?
HF says - New color of nail polish of course!
