May 23, 2022- For the second straight year the Boys Tennis team advanced to the IHSA State Finals. The boys played strong tennis over the two-day Sectional Tournament hosted by Joliet Catholic last Friday and Saturday and eventually went on to claim the Sectional title for the second straight season. Individually, the boys were led by
Jeremy Kang and Jeffery Master who finished 3rd, and 4th place in the singles tournament to advance to the State Finals. On the doubles side
Sam Dykema and Colin Bittner finished 3rd overall which was also good enough for a spot in the State Finals. The State Finals begin Thursday May 26 and go through Saturday May 28th. Arlington Heights (Hersey) is tournament central with several other near-by schools being used as playing sites. Locations and matchups have yet to be announced by the IHSA.
