The Graduating Class of 2021 can be summarized by the words "celebration" and "perseverance". Like many of their peers, they've navigated unique waters during this pandemic, and they have done so in the hopes of a final soccer season together. We are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to play this year, and every time we step onto the field, we recognize it is a gift and we seek to treasure it. This class has not only contributed to a successful soccer program, but has participated in Project Lead, WA TV, Spiritual Emphasis Week, Pep Band, and many other school activities. These seniors have served and worked hard and left our program in a better place than they found it.
Haetham Nasr opened the scoring in the 13th minute as he fired a pass from
Jude Barton into the back of the net.
Nasr would set up the second goal as Kaiden Massie beat the keeper with just two minutes left in the first half.
Senior Kyle Holwerda would round out the evening with a great sliding finish from a bending cross from Gabe Olsen in the 67th minute.
Declan Finnegan recorded 3 saves on the evening and his 7th shutout of the year.
The Warriors return to action April 15th with a road match at IC Catholic Prep.
