The Warriors of Wheaton Academy lost to a talented Addison Trail Thursday night in the second match of the Pepsico Showdown for Charity. Addison Trail scored in the 7th minute, but Wheaton Academy was able to quickly equalize just 90 seconds later when

Haetham Nasr for his first varsity goal. The game remained tied until just after halftime, when Addison Trail was able to find the back of the net in the 42nd minute. Despite a lot of offensive pressure by the Warriors, and end to end soccer, Addison trail held on for the win and picked up a 79th minute PK to finish the game 1-3. Hoekstra recorded 6 saves on the evening for the Warriors. Wheaton Academy is now 5-3-1 on the season, and will play in their final PepsiCo Showdown match on Saturday at 11:25am against Mather. The final round of PepsiCo Showdown will be at Inwood Soccer Complex in Joliet.
