Boys Soccer Wins Season Opener

The Warriors of Wheaton Academy started the 2019 campaign with a 3-0 win over Batavia High School on a beautiful Tuesday night. The Warriors visited Bulldog Stadium for the opening match and found themselves up 1-0 at the break, thanks to a free kick by Logan Finnegan in the 12th minute of play. Goals by Giovanni Nicoski (42nd minute) and Logan Finnegan (61st minute) set the tone for the second half. The Warriors open up with a 1-0 overall record and play Thursday at Geneva High School at 6:30pm.
