The Wheaton Academy girls volleyball team concluded their season with a 20-8 overall record while posting a perfect 7-0 record in Red division the Metro Suburban Conference (MSC). Four Warriors earned All-Conference accolades for their performances throughout the season.
Leah Kodat,
Anna Hyde,
Camryn McClure, and
Schuyler Williams were named to the 2019 All-MSC team.
Williams was selected as the conference MVP as she helped lead the Warriors to an MSC Championship. In addition, Williams was named to the Daily Herald DuPage County All-Area Team (to see the entire All-Area team, click
here). She averaged 8.2 kills, 12 assists and 7 digs per match on the 2019 season.
The two Warrior captains were
Shawna Gum and Williams.
Ella Schmidt took home the 2019 Warrior Award while
Julissa Velazquez earned the 2019 Coaches Award, both named by head coach
D.A. Nichols and the rest of his coaching staff.
