The Wheaton Academy Warriors went on the road Thursday night and caputured their fifth win of the year. The team controlled the game and scored five goals while also posting their second shutout of the year. The goals came from
Luke Holwerda (2),
Seamus Kilgallon (2), and
Grayson Harris.
JD Gunn and
Andrew Hoekstra posted the shutout in goal for the Warriors. The team is now 5-2 overall and will head into the PepsiCo Showdown on Saturday to play Lane. The Warriors will look to represent their school well in the largest high school tournament in the country against a school with over 4,000 students. The game will be played at 5pm on Saturday at the McDonald's Fields in Oak Brook.
