The Warriors of Wheaton Academy jumped out to a fast start with three first half goals against Wheaton Warrenville South on Thursday night. The team jumped out to the lead in the 7th minute with a goal by Garyson Harris off of a diagonal ball by
Seamus Kilgallon. The next goal came in the 34th minute as Jon Austriaco finished a rebound goal off of a hard strike from
Luke Holwerda. Holwerda finished the scoring just before halftime when
Jack Kilgallon set him up on the near post for a great finish.
JD Gunn posted the shutout for the Warriors with 3 saves. Wheaton Academy moves to 3-1 overall on the year and will host CVCA (Ohio) on Saturday at 1pm.
