JV Girls Soccer Wins First Game in Wheaton Cup

The Warriors won their first game of the Wheaton Cup by defeating Elgin South 3-0.  Anna Lindsay scored two first half goals and Faith Pollino secured the victory with her second half goal.  
The four team tournament will take place over the next week and follow a round robin format.  As usual, a win provides three points and a tie provides one point, but the Wheaton Cup has also added an additional point for completing a shutout.  The Warriors managed to grab all four possible points in their first game and hope to continue their efforts against Herscher on Saturday.
