The Wheaton Academy Boys basketball team won tonight in a conference matchup against Aurora Central Catholic HS. The Warriors continued their trend of strong starts at home, scoring 28 points in the first quarter. They kept the pace high into the second quarter, putting up 21 more. Leading 49-27 at the half, Wheaton Academy looked set to secure another win. And even with a second half which didn't keep up the same scoring barrage, the Coach Thonn's bench locked down and still outscored ACC. The Warriors won the contest, 73-50.
Jayston Williams was the high scorer for Wheaton Academy putting up 23pts.
Stephen Garrison had a productive night as well with 17pts. J.D. Gunn also had a solid game and finished with 14pts.
