Wheaton Academy defeated Batavia High School in the home opener for the 2016 season. Batavia's field is still under renovation so the game was moved to Wheaton Academy. Elias McCloud and worked his way around the goalkeeper for an open net finish. The Warriors defended well and
JD Gunn preserved the shutout. The Warriors are now 3-0-2 and will host Elmwood Park on Thursday evening at Wheaton Academy.
