The Wheaton Academy Warriors played an undefeated Downers Grove North team on Tuesday night in the quarterfinals of the PepsiCo Showdown. The Warriors came out and scored in the first 2 minutes as

Elias McCloud for the early lead. Downers responded before the intermission with a strike from just inside the box. After halftime the Warriors created a penalty kick which was converted by
Luis Rocha.
Ethan Stoneman extended the lead with a sliding goal to the far post, side nettting.
JD Gunn made 6 saves in the match and helped the Warriors to an overall record of 6-0-2. The Warriors are one of four teams still remaining and will play on Thursday night with the hopes of reaching the PepsiCo Final.
