The Wheaton Academy Boys Basketball team finished the Wheaton Academy Thanksgiving Tournament with a 37-33 win over Bartlett. Trailing 18-24 at halftime the Warriors cut the lead to five points going into the 4th quarter. Wheaton Academy would tie the game at 31-31 with a Gunn three-point basket. Bartlett responded with a two-point field goal before a three-pointer by
Jimmy Paganis would give the Warriors a one point advantage. Aside from the timely baskets, the Warriors would hold Bartlett to just two points in the final quarter. Both
Noah Jones and
Noah Starkey made big contributions on the defensive end of the floor.
The Warriors will be back in action on Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3 as they host Fenton and St. Francis. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. respectively.
