Warrior Boys Basketball Falls to Streamwood

Sophomore Guard Jimmy Paganis scans the floor in Monday's loss to Streamwood.
The Wheaton Academy Warriors Boys Varsity basketball team fell in their season opener to Streamwood 49-52. Sophomore guard Jimmy Paganis led all scorer with 20 points. The Warriors went into halftime with a 28-22 lead but a sluggish start to the 3rd quarter saw Streamwood take a 36-35 lead going into the 4th quarter. Wheaton Academy pulled to within one but timely 3 point shots and consistency from the free throw line led to a Sabre win.

The Warriors will be back on the court tomorrow night against Downers Grove North as they play their second game in the Wheaton Academy Thanksgiving Tournament. Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m.
