    After a 2-2 performance in the Wheaton Academy Thanksgiving Tournament, the Warriors looked for a big win at home over #6 ranked Riverside Brookfield. In the first half, Wheaton Academy scored 14 points and held the explosive RB offensive attack to 19.
Anthony Polinski found himself in foul trouble early, but
Luke Ledesma,
Jimmy Paganis, and
Sam Scharnowski came off the bench to keep the Warriors in the game throughout the third quarter.Â
  In the fourth quarter, Polinski, back on the court hit a contested layup and a deep three pointer to bring the momentum back to the Warriors. Big shots by
Jameson Teuscher,
RW Rienow and
Dan Vasko had the Warriors trailing by five points with three minutes remaining in the game. But RB put the game out of reach with a final score of 49-36.
The Warriors play again Monday, December 7 at 7:30 pm at home against St. Francis.
