Girls Basketball Set to Host Annual Thanksgiving Tournament

November 15, 2021- The Wheaton Academy Girls Basketball team is set to return to action this week as they open the 2021-22 season this weekend in their annual Thanksgiving Tournament. WA opens tournament play Thursday night at 7pm when they host Harvard High School. This begins a stretch of three games in three days for the Warriors. They take on Schaumburg Christian Friday night at 7pm and finish the opening weekend Saturday night at 7pm against Harvest Christian Academy.

Wheaton Academy returns six players from last years MSC Red Conference Championship team as Head Coach Erin Carwell returns to lead the Warriors. The girls will have a conference heavy schedule as well as non-conference matchup's with West Chicago and Lisle. They will also take part in the Lisle Cage Classic Holiday Tournament over Christmas break. Wheaton Academy also will be fielding a JV team for the first time since 2018-19.
