St. Charles, IL. - The Wheaton Academy girls golf team set a team record yesterday in their triangular conference match with a team total of 162. It was a home match for the Warrior girls at Pheasant Run Golf Resort and they took full advantage of home course knowledge to best St. Eds by 54 strokes and Aurora Central Catholic by 63 strokes.
Lauren Isenhart (Jr) was the medalist with a personal best of 37. Margaet Harmon (Fr) and
Meredith Bult (Jr) both posted 41.
Hailey Farmer (Sr) added a 43.
The WA girls team continued their strong play this year, so far the girls have: a tie for first, third place out of 17 teams at an invitational, three dual meet wins, and a first out of 18 teams at an invitational. Next up for the team is a home dual match (at Pheasant Run GR) against Hinkley Big Rock tonight with the tee in ground at 4 pm.
