WA regained their focus in the second half, fighting through a myriad of foul calls, turnovers, and free throws to outscore the Broncos 17-11 in the third quarter and 20-6 in the final quarter to eventually secure the 60-44 win.Â
Wheaton Academy shot 32 total free throws in the game, making good on 22 of them (68%) compared to Walther who went 8-for-18 (44%) from the line. The Warriors hot 41% from the field, ahead of the Broncos' 28% performance from the field.Â
Gordon Behr led WA with a game-high 20 points and a notable 15 rebounds, followed by sophomore
Bennett Fuzak with 11 points and 5 rebounds, and
