Warriors Defeat IMSA in Opener

Fall to St. Francis in Regional Final

The Warriors opened post season play against the Titans from IMSA, with a commanding victory in two straight sets 25-13 and 25-23. The Warriors were led by great balance on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, and earned themselves a spot in the Regional Finals on Saturday. The girls looked to carry that momentum into the finals against the Spartans of St. Francis, a cross town rival and conference opponent in the SCC. The two teams were very familiar with each other and were ready for the showdown. The Warriors played tough and continued to fight to the very end, but the Spartans won in two straight sets for the Regional plaque. A special thanks to the fans and parents for the great support through Regional play, and to our eight seniors who led and set the tone for our team throughout the season. The girls will have a lot of holes to fill in the lineup for next season, but look for the young energetic Warriors to step and take the challenge head on.
