Coach Mitchell returns for her fourth year as Wheaton Academy’s Varsity Girls Basketball Coach and Counselor. Mitchell has compiled an overall record of 68-19 in three seasons at Wheaton Academy. Last year the Warriors won the conference championship in their inaugural season of the Suburban Christian Conference finishing with a perfect 8-0 conference record and an overall record of 21-7.

Prior to coming to Wheaton Academy Mitchell served as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at the College of DuPage. She helped lead the College of DuPage women’s basketball program to two National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Championships as the Associate Head Coach in 2000 and 2002.

Mitchell also serves as school counselor where she is a resource for Wheaton Academy students and parents. She works with students in the areas of personal counseling, academic intervention and educational planning.

Coach Mitchell holds an M.S. degree in Human Services – Counseling from National-Louis University and a B.S. degree from Oral Roberts University.
