Athletic Leadership Paul Ferguson, Athletic Director
Ferguson, a native of Simsbury, Connecticut, is a 1994 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he earned a BA in History. Ferguson served as a student assistant on the John Macleod-led Irish basketball teams from 1992-94. As a member of the Fighting Irish staff he was heavily involved in scouting and recruiting during his tenure. While in college he fought in the Bengal Bouts and was named as one of the captains of the Notre Dame boxing squad in his junior year. He has also been involved as a coach at Five Star basketball camp since 1990. In 1995, Ferguson taught at Brother Rice High School in Chicago and coached the freshman boy’s basketball team. He also served as an assistant coach on Brother Rice’s varsity squad that won the Catholic League Championship. Coach Ferguson has masters in Arts of Teaching from Aurora University. In 2006 he completed a master’s degree from Wheaton College in Evangelism and Spiritual Formation. Paul and his wife Michelle live in Wheaton and are the proud parents of three sons: Ty (5), Benjamin (3) and Caleb (1).
Willie Bosque, Associate Athletic Director
Coach Bosque played Division I baseball at the University of Miami before starting his coaching career as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Tennessee Wesleyan College and later taking over as Head Coach. During his time the Bulldogs produce twenty-two First Team All-Conference players, two Conference Player of The Year, and one Freshman Player of The Year. TWC also won four consecutive Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships. Overall, Willie has coached more than 20 players who have gone on to play professional baseball, including two first round draft picks. Bosque continues to be an Associate Scout for the San Diego Padres. Coach Bosque brings a passion for sports and a desire to use athletics for Kingdom purposes. Willie lives in West Chicago with his wife Sarah and his children, Jonathan (3) and Eliana (2).

Paul Ferguson returns for his third year as Wheaton Academy’s athletic director and 4th as head varsity boy’s basketball coach. Last year, the Warriors won the school’s first IHSA Regional Boy’s Basketball Championship in eleven years. Prior to returning to WA in 2006, Ferguson was the assistant men’s basketball coach and intramural director at Wheaton College one of the best Division III programs in the country. During his 7 seasons the program amassed a 118-58 record. He coached and recruited numerous All Americans and had three players go on to play professionally overseas. 
Coach Bosque returns for his third season as associate athletic director and head varsity baseball coach at Wheaton Academy. In his first year as head coach, Bosque led the Warriors to their 1st 3A regional championship. In year two the warriors set single season records for wins (21), hits (314), runs (300), and total bases (635).
