Coach Felinski is a graduate of Wheaton Academy.  During his time at the Academy, he participated in both cross country and track, earning two varsity letters in each sport.  In 1998, he was a member of the first boys cross country team in Wheaton Academy’s history to qualify for the IHSA state sectional.  The following year, he was the #3 runner on the fastest boys cross country team of the 90’s.  During his track career he specialized in the 800 and 3200m runs, but also ran the 4x800, 1600, and 4x400.

During his time as assistant coach, both the boys cross country and distance track teams have experienced some success.  In 2007, he coached 5 all-conference track runners and the boys 4x800 team that finished second in the conference.

Coach Felinski lives in Wayne, and he attends Fox Valley Bible Church in St. Charles.  In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, and watching baseball, football, and tennis on television, as well as studying a wide variety of computer topics.  He finished his Masters degree in education from Aurora University in May 2007.
