The Ladies improved to 8-0 in the SCC and clinched the conference title with a 58-40 victory over Aurora Central Catholic. Alexa Sharkey led the Warriors in scoring with 21 points.

Alexa Sharkey led all scorers as the Lady Warriors move to a perfect 7-0 standing in the SCC conference. Sharkey scored 20 points and had 8 steals. Sarah Drury recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Senior Night Success

Lady Warriors Defeat St. Edwards

The Lady Warriors continued their recent winning streak with a 20 point victory over St. Edwards. The victory was also the final home game for the Wheaton Academy seniors. Up through last night's games, this group of seniors contributed to 62 wins over the past four seasons. Alexa Sharkey led all scorers with 16 points. Warriors Defeat Guerin Prep

Win Back to Back Games

The Lady Warriors are back on the winning track. After losing four straight, the Lady Warriors have put together solid outings against conference opponents Aurora Christian and Guerin Prep. Last night the Warriors defeated Guerin Prep 52-41 to move to 14-5 on the season, and 6-0 in the conference. Sydney Sharkey led all scorers with 18 points. The next game for the Ladies will be on Monday night - Senior Night and a night of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Lady Warriors Take 2nd Place at Lisle

Immaculate Conception Wins Physical Game

The lady Warriors fell to Immaculate Conception on Wednesday evening 52-41, finishing second at the Lisle Tournament. Alexa and Sydney Sharkey were both named to the all tournament team. Overall, it was a great tournament for the ladies, who defeated Reed-Custer, Coal City, and Lisle to reach the Championship Game. The Warriors record stands at 12-2 heading into the new year.

The Warriors won their 20th game of the season, a 64-49 victory over St. Edwards, to remain perfect in SCC play. Their next game will be on Tuesday night at home against Benet. It will be a white out night - varsity game tips off at 7:30pm

The Wheaton Academy Warriors won their 5th game in a row after defeating Immaculate Conception 67-55 Friday Night. The Warriors got off to a fast start with Tim Rusthoven scoring 14 first quarter points. The Warriors kept the defense on in the second quarter and built up a 43-15 lead. The Warriors continued their strong play on Tuesday night, defeating the Wildcats of West Chicago by 30 in a non-conference game 72-42. The highlight of the game was a dunk in the 3rd quarter by Tim Rusthoven. Tim finished with a game high 28 points. Next game will be at home on Friday night against Immaculate Conception. Behind Tim Rusthoven's 26 points, the Warriors defeated St. Francis 59-46 on Friday night. The win was the 16th on the season for the boys, who are also ranked #20 in the Chicago Sun Times Poll.
