Golfers Have Best Performance Yet

Bouncing back from a weak perfomance last Friday, the Golf lowered is best score of the season by 8 strokes and defeated Aurora Christian 149 to 168. Lars Olson led all scorers with a round of even-par 35. Next for the Warriors was Danny Gryfinski with a score of 37, followed by Jack Anderson (38) and Elio Vento (39). This is the first time this season that all four players shot scores lower than 40. Next up for the Golf Team is Marmion Academy on September 9.
Golf Team Places 2nd in Annual Wheaton Cup

In their best performance of this still young season, the Warrior golfers placed second at the Wheaton Cup Tournament. Wheaton South placed first with a score of 304. The Warriors were second with a score of 313. St. Francis was third and Wheaton North fourth. Lars Olson led the scoring for Wheaton Academy with a score of 77. Elio Vento shot 78 as Jack Anderson and Danny Gryfinski both shot scores of 79.
Warriors defeat Westminster 28-6

A great team win for the Warriors. The defense played well holding the visitors to only 6 points. Quarterback Tommy Decker did a great job throwing 4 TD's to Luke Thorson (2), Kai Libby, and James Johnson.
Football Gears Up for Season Opener

The entire football team has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming 2010 Football Season. The season kicks off tonight at 7:00 PM as the Wheaton Academy Warriors face off against Westminster Christian Academy at Wheaton College. Join us as we root for the Warriors in tonight's opener. The Junior Varsity kicks off their season on Saturday, August 28th at West Chicago High School (9 AM).
